When in Rome… Harvin at Canapa Mundi 2020
When in Rome, do as the Romans do,” as the saying goes. For us at Harvin, a more fitting and up-to-date version of this old proverb would be: “When in Rome, don’t miss Canapa Mundi.”
Canapa Mundi is the oldest Italian cannabis fair, one of the largest events in the sector in Italy, and certainly an excellent marketplace for legal cannabis and all cannabis-, hemp-, and CBD-based products that are contributing to the growth of the green economy.
The growth of Canapa Mundi
Canapa Mundi has grown over the years, just like the Italian legal cannabis market. This year, the Rome cannabis fair moved from its previous venue to the new exhibition complex at Fiera di Roma, a huge location that perfectly matches Canapa Mundi’s growth.
Program highlights
As is customary in the world of cannabis fairs, Canapa Mundi offered a program full of initiatives linked to the event’s commercial activities, starting with an interesting schedule of workshops, conferences, and talks. There was a large area dedicated to cannabis- and hemp-based food and beverages, a rich lineup of DJs playing music broadcast live from the new Pot Radio, and even a space designed for children.
Of course, there was also a comprehensive exhibition of all the cannabis-, hemp-, and CBD-based products that form the core of every industry fair: CBD legal flowers and hash, CBD e-liquids for vaping, growing equipment, hemp fashion, CBD cosmetics, and, as mentioned, delicious hemp-, cannabis-, and CBD-based foods and drinks. Hemp beer in particular has been gaining popularity and was present everywhere throughout the fair.
Harvin’s participation
The Harvin team did not have a dedicated exhibition booth at Canapa Mundi, but we took part by sharing space with our long-time partners, CBD Flowers, while our automatic cannabis vending machines were placed in the booths of other partners such as CBWeed and several other successful Italian companies in the light-cannabis sector.
Presentation of our vending machines
We brought only a couple of vending machines from the Harvin line with us—the very popular bestsellers Magic Wind and Magic Baby Touch. As always, we met many new customers interested in expanding their business by adding one or more cannabis vending machines to their green shops, as well as numerous curious visitors who asked us many questions about our machines, which we were happy to answer in detail.
Intense activity at the booth
As a result, our shared booth was quite busy most of the time, during which we carried out many demonstrations with our vending machines—showing how easy it is to load products into cannabis vending machines, how to effortlessly configure the touchscreen display, and how to enter a complete description for each product. We also performed several demonstrations of our machines’ security features, starting with the powerful card reader built into all our vending models.
