Among the cannabis trade shows and events 2021/2022 that Harvin had the pleasure of attending is the CBD Expo in Paris, the first B2B event in France that presented CBD products derived from cannabis to the public for the first time. This was possible thanks to the growing tolerance in France towards this market, especially following the Kanavape case, which made the legal situation in France very similar to that of Italy at the end of 2017. Since then, the number of companies, business activities and shops selling cannabis and CBD products has been steadily increasing across the French territory.

CBD Expo was an unmissable event that organized very interesting informational conferences and served as the first national business hub for industry operators, enabling meetings and exchanges with foreign companies. It should also be said that, in addition to presenting numerous innovations regarding this multipurpose plant and facilitating exchanges among sector entrepreneurs, CBD Expo was the first event held in France entirely dedicated to cannabis professionals. Harvin‑branded CBD vending machines literally flew off the shelves in the French cannabis market, which proved highly interested in the possibility of a highly profitable solution for their businesses.

The interesting thing about CBD Expo is that it was indeed a B2B trade show, dedicated to market players and enabling many companies—especially newer ones—to expand their brand and their network of contacts in the cannabidiol market. Over the course of two days, CBD Expo France paved the way for the CBD market in France.

One aspect worth mentioning, which we as attendees appreciated very much, is that the fair organizers showed sensitivity towards ecological factors, committing to an environmentally sustainable approach: measures were taken to promote conscious consumption and reduce waste. For stand construction, recyclable materials were used, including the staff uniforms at CBD Expo, which were made entirely from organic cotton.
